Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a digital label press operator. The operator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks as outlined below:

Qualifications

• Operate digital label press, as well as the software necessary for print operations
• Run coating line that feeds press - Flexo experience a plus
• Complete jobs according to customer specifications by producing quality work and performing quality checks
• Monitor production for quality and color, maintaining all required samples as designated by the customer and procedures
• Manage workflow to minimize material changes while meeting order due dates
• Perform basic preventative maintenance in accordance with Durst recommended schedule
• Track time and materials via LabelTraxx software
• Review proofs for accuracy and color
• Follow job ticket instructions to ensure downstream
• Retrieve and return materials necessary for jobs.
• Move materials via material handling equipment including forklift and pallet jacks
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements
• Work overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements

• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
• Frequent walking and standing for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work
