AMERICAN SYSTEMS is searching for an experienced,
Lead IT Systems Administrator
to spearhead the operation and maintenance our client's enterprise information technology (IT) systems and supporting subsystems in
Dallas, TX .
As a Lead IT Systems Administrator, you will:

Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of a Lead IT Systems Administrator:
Provide accurate and timely Tier II and III level support on an IT Service Desk for 30+ sites throughout the world.
Maintain accurate records through use of online ticketing and inventory system while ensuring valuable information is maintained for future access.
Provide and lead the deployment of software via System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), schedule system backups, and monitor systems.Provide and maintain professionalism and technical aptitude with customers and team members.
Job Requirements
Active DoD
Top Secret with SCI
clearance.
DoD 8570
IAT level II
or higher certification (e.g.,
Security+ CE , CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP)
10+ years hands-on experience with:
enterprise-level Active Directory administration and Group Policy
MS Exchange
managing/administering a patch management solution (i.e., SCCM/WSUS)
In-depth knowledge & experience with:
Windows 11 (and earlier)
Server 2022 (and earlier)
Scheduling and managing backups of systems data.
Windows Server technologies to include SQL Server, System Center (SCCM, SCOM), SharePoint, Exchange 2010/2016, etc.
Systems administration, optimization, and industry best practices
SAN technologies such as EMC devices and integration with vSphere 6.0/6.5
Solid understanding of PowerShell.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to assist and train others.
Willingness to travel (up to 10%).

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
