Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As this FP&A Controller, your focus will be supporting the ELIP (Electrification Installation Products) regions in providing reliable and timely analysis of financial results, and product line profitability in order to support the divisional leadership in decision making processes. The FP&A Controller will also support optimizing the complete value chain of controlling activities as well as drive the business to improve performance in a sustainable manner by bringing additional transparency to performance on key KPIs.

    This role will be open to remote US applicants, with a preference for those in the Eastern or Central time zones to be able to align with the team in Memphis, TN. There will also be occasional travel to the Memphis office.Your responsibilitiesChallenge the status quo and drive the optimization of region-based processes in line with global fast close process.Embrace the roll-out of new technology as the business migrates to a new ERP and promote adoption of new applications to deliver greater automation, insight, and process efficiencyEstablish and oversee processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent financial results for global and US region leadership as well as product management. Ensure high quality and compliance of financial data and business information in line with defined ABB standardsSupport the ELIP Divisional compliance with Sarbanes Oxley [SOX], US GAAP and all ABB policies. Take the lead as needed and driving sustainable alignment with Accounting Policy, Internal Controls and AssuranceServe as liaison to the manufacturing facilities and distribution centers on special finance projects to promote optimization and process harmonization. Drive cross functional collaboration and process improvement as a finance business partnerSupport ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement processes and integrity performance. Your backgroundBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required with 8 plus years of experience in controlling or financial analysis, financial operations, or internal controlsGeneral accounting knowledge in financial statements, cashflow, inventories, reconciliations, and internal controlsDetail-oriented team player with the ability to effectively adhere to strict deadlinesGood communication skills and ability to work with teams spread out geographicalMust have advanced proficiency with MS Office, particularly with ExcelExperience using multiple tools including SAP (priority for this role) among others including Oracle, Power BI, HyperionBusiness oriented mindset to support business developmentCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USBenefitsRetirement planLife insuranceDisability insuranceHealthcare planWellbeing programMore about usABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts),is the number one manufacturer of electrification products in North America with a 125-year history of providing innovation and customer- focused solutions for connecting and protecting electrical systems, as well as a unique differentiated medium voltage offering.     While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $111,300 and $206,700 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
