    Position:
    Physical Therapist Assistant


    Location:
    Moraga, CA 94556

    Contract Duration: 3 months (chance to convert to permanent position)

    Type:
    Part-time/Per-diem, 20 hours a week

    Valid Physical Therapist Assistant - License


    Job Description and Responsibilities:
    Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.

    Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board.

    Assist in maintaining department.

    Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences, as needed.

    Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.

    Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.

    Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.

    Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plans.

    Participate in in-services training program for other staff in the facility.

    • Record treatment changes per policy and procedures.
    Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.

    Report any problems with department equipment so that it is maintained in good working order.

    A 49-bed Medicare-certified skilled nursing facility located in Moraga, California

    Offers a range of therapy services including Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Respiratory Therapy

    Features modern amenities such as private and semi-private rooms, a therapy gym, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and a beautiful courtyard

    Emphasizes compassionate care with a focus on high medical integrity, teamwork, and creating a comfortable environment for residents and visitors

    RNs on duty 24/7 and admissions processed 24/7
