    Job Summary

    St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is recruiting for a Per Diem Pediatrician for our outpatient practice located on the hospital campus in the Center for the Urban Child. In this per-diem position, pediatrician will care for patients from newborn to young adults age 21 treating a wide range of routine illnesses including bladder problems,colds, ear infections, fever, flu, respiratory problems, sinus issues,skin infections and stomach pain. The pediatrician will provide kid-focused care in our family-friendly office for behavioral evaluations (autism & ADHD), hearing & vision screening,immunizations, newborn care, nutritional guidance, physical exams: well-child, school/sports physicals and referrals to specialists. Pediatricians practice as part of our multi-disciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians, behavioral counselors, medical assistants and office staff. Practice is open Monday - Friday, and Saturday mornings.

    Qualifications

  • Candidates must be MD, DO or foreign equivalent
  • Graduate of an ACGME Paediatric Residency
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics
  • Unrestricted Commonwealth of PA Medical License
  • Ability to obtain DEA License in PA prior to employment
