    an environment to safely test and exercise AI vision models before deploying them in the real world.

    Cignal Engine combines simulation, AI/ML, and other mathematical techniques to create high-fidelity synthetic image streams that are virtually indistinguishable from real data.

    The Cignal Engine is used to test how well transportation security AI/ML models detect firearms, explosives, narcotics, and other dangerous items on people, in baggage, and in cargo.

    What You'll Do:


    We're seeking a talentedAI Engineerto join our core Cignal Engine development team to help build new, advanced capabilities in Cignal Engine.

    You will personally be helping to make air travel safer while also having a substantial impact on introducing a game-changing, cutting-edge productIn This Role,

    You Will:
    Deploy generative models in Cignal Engine's 2D/3D rendering pipelinesTrain Cignal Agents using the PyCignal API for Reinforcement LearningDevelop Python modules and APIs for training and deploying neural networksModify and implement neural network architectures for image and non-image dataDeploy synthetic data quality metrics in an MLOps environmentEngage with customers and the Cignal Engine community to demonstrate how to use Cignal Engine to build advanced computer vision modelsParticipate in code review sessions and accept and respond to critical feedbackWrite efficient, scalable codeWhat We're

    Looking For:
    Strong Linux, BSD/UNIX knowledgeExperience developing models in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or KerasStrong Python development experienceCI/CD, Conda, Docker, Git experienceAbility to manage model weights/parameters with systems like NeptuneExperience designing, training, and deploying production AI systemsStrong math skillsA creative mindset and unique approach to solving problemsAn ability to quickly iterate on concepts and ideas without sacrificing qualityNice to Have:Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related fieldExperience with NVIDIA software, GPUs, and CUDAExperience applying adversarial testing concepts in machine learningKnowledge of computer vision algorithms along with non-image dataExperience with x-ray/computed tomography, millimeter wave, or other non-visible imaging modalities (MRI, ultrasound, sonography, acoustic)

    Pay and Other Considerations:
    The expected annual base pay for this position in Reedsville, Pennsylvania is USD $80,000.00/year - $100,000.00/year. Compensation may vary based on factors, including (but not limited to) competencies and skills, knowledge, qualifications, and experience.
