    Responsibilities:

    Assist the orthodontist in providing patient care and treatment during orthodontic procedures

    Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment

    Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)

    Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

    Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

    Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

    Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phones and filing

    Experience:

    Previous experience working as an orthodontic assistant or in a similar role is preferred

    Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques

    Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Dentrix, for scheduling and record keeping

    Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records

    Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting

    Ability to assist with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for orthodontic appliances is a plus

    Skills:

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages

    Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

    Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
