- Performs clinical laboratory procedures in chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, clinical microscopy and microbiology.
- Assists in data collection for statistical surveys or other reports generated by the department; participates in performance improvement activities within the department.
- Utilizes specialized knowledge of clinical laboratory principles in the maintenance of instrumentations, documentation of QC programs, patient results' reporting and in the performance of general duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.

II. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for providing clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.
