As a Kitchen Helper at DNA Wine Lounge, you play a pivotal role in creating a memorable experience for our patrons by keeping the kitchen and lounge clean and assisting in food prep.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to ensure a clean and organized dining area
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Help with food preparation and handling
• Support kitchen staff with various tasks, as assigned

Skills:

• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Familiarity with preparing and handling food to assist the Chef
• Understanding of proper sanitation procedures for cleaning dishes and kitchen tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team and be a hard worker
• Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects, if required

Other duties include, but not limited to:

• Keeping restrooms stocked and clean during operating hours.
• Preparation for opening and cleaning, restocking for preparation of next business day.
• Other duties assigned.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and must be at least 18 years old. A ServSafe Food Certification is required.

Audra (The "A" in DNA) has been in the risk and safety industry for 25 years. Doug has shared his wine knowledge and experience with her for the nearly 20 years they have been together, which has cultivated her love for wine.
