    The Sr. Financial Analyst, Parcel position is responsible for providing financial insight and support for the Parcel Division of Fortna, Inc.

    This financial analysis role is responsible for constructing and consolidating financial forecasts/plans based upon routine activities, strategic projects and diverse team initiatives.

    This role is also responsible for performing trend analysis, providing investment decision support and maintenance of the monthly reporting/forecasting system.

    This position reports to the Finance Manager of the Parcel Division and interacts with other members of the Fortna FP&A team to share best practices and help drive Finance initiatives.

    This Sr. Financial Analyst will focus on assembling, analyzing, and summarizing data; preparing reports; and creating presentations of findings.


    Responsibilities:
    Pulling raw data from financial systems, packaging it into concise, informative reports, and communicating and explaining the results.
    Conducting variance analysis and commentary.
    Assisting in identifying financial and operational trends.
    Creating reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.
    Assisting in developing business models to support strategic business decisions.
    Special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (must be able to be ascertained from the resume):

    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    Experience with accessing and manipulating data from multiple sources
    Proficient knowledge of financial analysis techniques, including Excel modeling
    Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
    Strong desire to provide timely and accurate reporting
    Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    Strong interpersonal and time management skills
    Ability to travel domestically and internationally
    Ability to perform essential functions of the job


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or mathematics/statistics; or an applicable field of study
    2-5 years' experience with financial analysis


    Travel Requirements:
    May require occasional travel (less than 10%).


    The base salary range for this role is $73, $110, This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.

    Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
