    JOB SUMMARYTheDirect Email Marketing Managerwill work with cross-functional teams to manage national Email Direct Marketing campaigns in the residential and small business markets.

    This individual is responsible for creating the strategy, and for the flawless execution of their campaigns.

    This requires proposing, planning, analyzing results, and managing campaigns end to end so that they are effective, on time, and on budget.

    This role requires a successful track record of managing direct email marketing projects. Strong project management skills, analytics, and a demonstrated ability to lead are essential.

    The individual is responsible for every drop they oversee, and will be relied upon to communicate changes in a broad audience in a clear and timely manner.

    This individual should also have an understanding of segmentation, as well as test and control design.

    This person should expect to spend much of their time studying our offers and creating strategy requirements with attention to detail.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceLead a cross-functional team to manage Direct Email Marketing campaign and test cycles for customer acquisition and upgrade from inception through post campaign analysisDevelop, maintain and communicate DM campaign calendars and version matrices for all targets, products, offers and geographic areas; manage change controlPartner with relevant business functions, the field and external vendors to determine targets and schedules; strategize and implement tests of audience, offer, creative formats and messaging; analyze campaign performance across key metrics and ensure flawless executionTrack response and conversion to drive email marketing efficiencies and effectiveness; accountable for marketing budget, ROI and cost per connect to drive profitable revenue and operating cash flowManage contact strategy based on test results, consumer insights and cross-functional team input.

    Review and adjust segmentation strategies using data analysis.

    Establish a record of email campaigns results, market insights, offer strategy and creativeProof read final copy to ensure accurate and correct communication; match creative, versions and other campaign elementsCommunicate with internal and external research groups, industry organizations and other sources of expertise related to Direct Email Marketing; promote and communicate the benefits of email marketing throughout the organizationPerform other duties as assignedThis role is based on-site at our corporate office in Stamford, CT.
