    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a day shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Scottsdale, AZ, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in a broad range of cardiac and vascular procedures.

    Responsibilities
    Short-term acute care hospital with 427 staffed beds
    Cardiac Cath Lab / Special Procedures setting
    Variable daily caseload per technologist
    Procedures include cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, angiograms, stents, ablations, venous access, fluoroscopy studies, contrast administration, and power injector use
    Charting performed in Epic
    3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
    1–2 weekends required per 6-week schedule
    Overnight and weekend on-call required
    Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities if needed
    Local candidates are accepted
    Perform special procedures including cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular interventions, ablations, and fluoroscopy-guided studies
    Scrubs are provided by the facility
    First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
    Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on requested days
    RTO requests are subject to approval depending on dates

    Requirements
    Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab / Special Procedures experience
    Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification required
    Proficiency with PACs, contrast, fluoroscopy studies, stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, venous access, and power injectors
    State license required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start
