    Job DescriptionPark Nicollet is looking to hire a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day


    Position Summary:
    Provides basic preparation of the patient for ophthalmic tests, evaluation, or treatment ensuring quality patient services

    Work Schedule:
    1.0 Fulltime. Days3 Days a week in Burnsville. 2 Days a week St. Louis Park.


    Required Qualifications:
    Certification through JCAHPO as an Ophthalmic Assistant is required within 2 year of hire date.1)

    Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.2)Detail oriented individual with strong human relations and organizational skills.3)Ongoing certification as a Certified Ophthalmic AssistantPreferred Qualifications:
    a) Satisfactory completion of an accredited home study course in Ophthalmic Assisting or b) Satisfactory completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or c) Equivalent related experience
