Job Title: Production Shift Supervisor at Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

Pactiv Evergreen Inc. (NASDAQ: PTVE) is a prominent manufacturer and distributor of fresh foodservice and food merchandising products, including fresh beverage cartons, in North America and various international markets.

Location:
The plant is situated in Moorhead, which is about 233 miles northwest of Minneapolis, MN, and is adjacent to Fargo, ND. Moorhead is the county seat of Clay County and the largest city in northwest Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

Manage, direct, and coordinate all production shift activities to boost productivity and minimize costs while upholding quality standards
Supervise a team of 50+ employees
Ensure daily production targets are met by collaborating with the Scheduler
Conduct various supervisory tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and training employees
Assign and oversee work duties
Evaluate employee performance and address any issues
Ensure accurate collection and reporting of production data daily
Support and enhance Quality initiatives to meet plant objectives
Implement and review safety programs regularly for effectiveness

Qualifications:

Preferred BA/BS degree (business, engineering)
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing
Prior supervisory experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in team settings
Skilled in conflict resolution in a mature and consistent manner
Proficient in computer skills
Experience with SAP is advantageous
