    Job Title:

    A Dishwasher is a critical team member in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Dishwashing and Sanitization:
      • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment. Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue.
      • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
    • Kitchen Support:
      • Empty and clean trash bins regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
      • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed.
    • Equipment Maintenance:
      • Perform routine maintenance on dishwashing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently. This includes cleaning out the dish trap and maintaining clean water flow.
      • Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
    • Stocking and Organization:
      • Restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their designated storage areas.
      • Ensure that cleaning supplies and chemicals are properly stored and labeled.
    • Health and Safety:
      • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
      • Follow sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
      • Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness, including wearing the appropriate uniform and protective gear.

    Qualifications:

    • No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
    • Tolerance for exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and steam.
