    Description

    Responsibilities

    :
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and Commissioning Manager to represent SolBank responsibilities.
  • Review and coordinate SolBank commissioning schedule and forecast necessary manpower.
  • Allocate contracted workers per the schedule requirements and manage their funding and onboarding.
  • Train new Service Technicians to be able to commission SolBank.
  • Place QR codes on SolBank and register them in the CMMS.
  • Train technicians and contractors on CMMS and proper usage.
  • Represents Services as site lead for new projects and drives scheduling, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Works with Field Service Supervisors to ensure effective transition to Operations.
  • Act as field technical advisor for Service Technicians, Field Supervisors and Service Department.
  • Responds to situations that arise during SolBank transit to include repairs and damage assessment.
  • Assist in Procedure development and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform training exercises in the field for Service Technicians supporting commissioning and maintenance activities.
  • Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting and hands on support to maintain equipment and achieve availability and capacity guarantees.
  • Develop operating procedures and processes.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • QualifiedElectricalTechnician
  • Minimum 5years'relevantworkexperienceinaserviceenvironmentpreferablyinrenewable energy
  • OSHA 30Certified
  • Proficient in converting technical data into technical manuals and procedures.
  • Previoustrainingandknowledge ofinverters
  • SCADA experience isbeneficial.
  • Knowledgeof general andnational codes,medium voltagepowersystems andEnergyStorage systemapplicationsisanasset.
  • Excellentverbal andwrittencommunicationskills
  • DemonstratedproficiencyusingMS OfficeApplications (Word, Excel)
  • Previousexperiencewith aCMMSsoftwareprogrampreferred.
  • Mustpossess avalid driver's licensewithacleandrivingrecord.
  • FirstAidTrained
  • Mustbeableto travel toregional locationsasneeded(over50%of time)
  • Abilitytofunctionsuccessfullyboth independentlyandwithinateam.
  • Demonstratedprofessionalappearanceandconduct.
