    Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Rehab

    Location: US-OR-PORTLAND

    This is an exciting chance to become part of the Emanuel outpatient Burn & Wound team. We are in search of an OT with a minimum of two years of professional practice. Previous involvement with burn & wound cases is advantageous. The role involves active participation in a versatile interdisciplinary team, working closely with Surgeons & Nurses within a clinic environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess, plan, and execute customized occupational therapy programs for individual patients.
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
    • Supervise the tasks of support personnel.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program endorsed by the Occupational Therapy Association.

    Skills:

    • Adept at delivering patient care and overseeing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA/COTA), Therapy Aides, and students.
    • Exceptional organizational aptitude for fostering program advancement.
    • Show proficiency, tailored to the patients' age groups, in acquiring and interpreting information based on their requirements; possess knowledge of standard growth and progress; and comprehend the spectrum of necessary treatments.
    • Proficient in creating home programs and providing family education.
    • Familiarity with the appropriate selection and utilization of DME (adaptive equipment).
    • Competent in using computers.
