Responsibilities:

We are at currently building the most advanced log analytics SaaS platform on the market, from popular, bleeding edge, open-source technologies.

Logz raised a $23 million Series C funding round in October 2017 and has raised $47 million since its founding in 2014.

Logz has offices in Boston, Massachusetts, and Tel Aviv, Israel.

As a Senior Software Engineer / Java Backend Developer you'll be involved in end-to-end activities, from design and architecture, through coding, testing, and up to deployment and monitoring, using the most advanced technologies and methodologies out there.

You will also be expected to harness your experience to shore up the technological leadership of the Engineering organization.
Responsibilities
Architecting and designing code with high throughput and easy horizontal scalability in mind
Developing highly distributed and highly scalable production-grade code

Job requirements:

MUST Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Java development
Experience in developing large-scale platforms/products.
Willing to work with the ELK stack
Deep understanding of best practices in scalable server-side architecture.
Strong expertise in microservice frameworks, best practices, and patterns
Experience with message brokers or event stores (Rabbit, Kafka, Akka)
Knowledge of cloud services ( AWS, Azure)
Experience working for an international startup or product company

Soft skills:
Autodidact and self-motivated.
Team player.
Great verbal English skills

Nice to have:
Knowledge of Kotlin (desirable)
