Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technologist) to join our healthcare team. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assess and diagnose heart conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Duties:
Conduct echocardiograms to evaluate heart function and diagnose cardiac conditions
Interpret test results and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine treatment plans
Perform cardiac catheterizations when necessary
Utilize sonography equipment to visualize heart structures
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Skills:
Proficiency in interpreting vital signs and diagnostic tests
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiology
Experience in cardiac catheterization procedures
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using sonography techniques
