    Motivated Learners has a new clinic in Wheeling specializing in providing comprehensive ABA therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are committed to delivering evidence-based interventions in a supportive and inclusive environment to promote the well-being and success of our clients.


    Position Overview:

    We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Therapist to join our team. This position offers daytime hours and provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and their teams BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in reaching their full potential.


    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
    • Implement behavior intervention plans and therapeutic techniques under the supervision of licensed professionals.
    • Provide support and guidance to clients in developing social skills, communication skills, and adaptive behaviors.
    • Collaborate with families and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, including session notes, data collection, and treatment reports.
    • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
    • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or working towards.
    • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for autism spectrum disorder (e.g., Applied Behavior Analysis, developmental therapies).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs thrive.
