Aspen Medical is seeking Clinical Psychiatrist for a remote telehealth opportunity supporting active-duty military service membersRequirements:
EducationMD or DO degree and completion of ACGME accredited 4-year Residency
License:
A current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice Psychiatryindependently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
Experience:
Two years of post-graduate experience as a clinical psychiatristusing virtual platforms to perform bio-psychosocial evaluations, develop behavioral health treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy.
The preferred candidate will have experience administering Active-Duty Profiles, performing Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) evaluations, performing fitness for duty determinations, and using virtual platforms within the Military Health System.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS).Must maintain current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
This document must detail all periods of time for the prior 10 years or back to qualifying degree, whichever is less.
A detailed explanation of time gaps greater than 30 calendar days between training and/or clinical practice is required.If selected for this position, you will be required to attend a 2 week in-person training course in San Antonio, Texas.
