    Responsibilities may include:
    Manages the activities of the Quality Control program assuring maximum efficiency and compliance to Company quality standards and procedures.

    Directs all Quality Control programs and personnel in compliance with Company procedures and State and Federal Regulatory requirements including microbiology, fruit sampling and determination of juice quality parameters.

    Monitors and ensures compliance with HACCP regulationsActs as a liaison between the laboratory and the office in providing, explaining and clarifying all data produced and /or recorded by the laboratory.

    Responsible for plant sanitation to assure reduction in risk of microbiological contamination and compiles and grades sanitation reports.
    Takes monthly water samples for analysis at outside LaboratoryPurchases and/or makes and standardizes laboratory solutions.
    Designs and improves laboratory forms and methods to facilitate data recording.
    Maintains and supervises the storing and shipping of samples.
    Supervises government inspectors and others during plant inspections.
    Interviews, hires, trains and disciplines quality control personnel.


    Desirable Education:
    B.S. Degree with specialization in food technology or related field.
