    Position: Controller

    Location: Fort Myers, Florida (Onsite Position)

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic financial initiatives and business decisions.
    • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
    • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a team to meet deadlines and objectives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
    • Prior experience in a leadership role preferred.
    • Ability and desire to work onsite 100% of the time.
