A store manager in training is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer services oversees and is accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise inventory expense control human resources management managing operating costs In addition they perform any tasks that assist the Store Manager in their daily procedures Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels merchandise adjacencies and presentations signing assortment in all departments ensure selling floor is adequately stocked Maintain a store inspection grade of at least 85% on the store Image Evaluation Adhere to all city county and state liquor regulations Train develop store management direct monitor training development for all store personnel Prepare deliver bank deposits daily basis without delay Ability adapt Projects positive image company business always Comparison shop report results share information director make price adjustments Work team employees accomplish goals tasks Analyze measure business trends develop implement plans maximize sales meet exceed goals objectives Continually evaluate react performance issues actively recruit candidates Adhere company policies procedures ensure all employees do same Schedule shift operating hours assign workers accordingly shifts covered Prepare shift reports enter proper information computer transmission daily basis Control shrink expenses payroll Review departmentstore trends recommend initiate changes maximizing goals objects Notify Area Manager immediately cash over short excess thirty five dollars Ensure sale accounting money orders during shifts described Operations Manual Ensure guest receives outstanding guest service providing friendly environment greeting acknowledging every guest maintaining standards solid product knowledge components guest service Job may require duties assigned
