Shift is Nights

Critical thinking skills and the ability to assist the nurse in caring for patients primarily in Med/Surg floats to Emergency Department as ED Tech, assist in OB as needed. Also provides some direct patient care as directed by the shift supervisor and/ or the staff nurse.

CNA: Assists the nurse to carry out the nursing process to deliver the highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration with the nursing team. The CNA provides daily patient cares, activities, and other tasks as delegated by the nursing staff. He/she monitors and Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. All other duties as assigned within the scope of CNA practice.

Requirements:

CNA with current Wisconsin Certification or the ability to obtain.

BLS certified.

Prefer 1 year Med/Surg or hospital experience.
