- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify and target potential new markets and clients for our fiber build construction solutions.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key new and existing clients and strategic partners to ensure high levels of customer and prospect satisfaction.
- Sales Operations and Forecasting: Oversee the entire sales pipeline and operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and providing accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with the C‑level executives in the human resources, marketing, finance, and operations departments to ensure seamless go‑to‑market strategies that drive the company's goals and objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, business development, preferably within the telecommunications or fiber optics construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of fiber optic technology, outside plant infrastructure (e.g., underground/aerial) and networking and related products.
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to inspire, mentor and build a high‑performing sales function with the company.
- Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills: Capable of translating complex market data and trends into actionable sales strategies.
- Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience in making executive‑level presentations and participating in contract negotiations.
- Technical and Digital Proficiency: Expert proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Pipedrive), Microsoft Office and Apple hardware (e.g., Macs, iPad and iPhone).
- Business Acumen: Strong financial acumen, including revenue modeling.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies based on evolving market conditions and customer needs.
