- Semen logistics (schedule shipments or receiving semen, coordinate with embryo logistics as needed)
- Prepare semen for IVFs scheduled the following day
- Ensure correct documentation; manage semen inventory requests
- Manage all communication regarding semen
- Assist in monitoring liquid nitrogen tank levels
- To keep the semen room organized
- Conduct full semen audits on a quarterly basis
- Any other tasks assigned by the Lab Manager

We are a global precision livestock company reshaping how cattle producers worldwide unlock animal performance. Our portfolio includes world class Bovine phenotypic and genotypic data capture system via Vytelle SENSE and Vytelle INSIGHT which enables producers to accurately select desired traits to continually produce elite progeny, coupled with Vytelle ADVANCE In Vitro Fertilization Service, which enhances the speed at which genetic improvement can be made.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for day-to-day coordination of logistics related to Vytelle's IVF Operations. This position will maintain efficient and smooth operation of the physical location. In addition this role will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the facility. Under the direct supervision of the lab manager, this position will support critical day-to-day laboratory operations handling semen logistics for IVF. Please consider that this position requires flexibility to work early mornings (as early as 3-4am at times) during two very busy breeding seasons. Volume does slow down during the summer months.
