- National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists required
- 3 years of experience required
- Anesthesia techniques such as general anesthesia, spinal and epidurals (including thoracic and lumbar), regional anesthesia, nerve blocks, IV sedation, and Monitored Anesthesia Care. Experience with orthopedic procedures such as hip and knee total joints, fractures, and shoulder surgeries (including total shoulder replacements). Skilled in performing laparotomies, hernia repairs, and laparoscopic procedures. Proficient in providing anesthesia for urology, OBGYN procedures, laparoscopic hysterectomies, plastic surgeries (including breast reductions), hand surgeries, Mohs repair, and Cardioversions. Also proficient in performing procedures outside of the operating room such as central lines and intubations in the emergency department and intensive care unit.
