- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of nursing experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

Provides nursing capacity leadership for a specific shift and unit/area.
This PT position would be to fill the off weekends of the other step nurse
Work Schedule: Part Time Weekend
Responsibilities:
Provides mentoring and coaching during an assigned shift, including productivity and quality management, for the patient flow of the assigned unit/area. Promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Provides direct patient care as needed. Assists with problem-solving discharge barriers. May take patient assignments to meet staffing needs. Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care at the time of discharge and identifies issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Responds to complaints and manages through established channels while conducting patient rounding.
Participates in capacity management meetings and MDRs throughout the day, working with team members to promote adequate patient flow.
Performs role-specific duties as assigned, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

The pay range for this position is: $ $57.44 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
