    Description
    Must be a US Citizen and local to Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position for now until the office opens up fully. May be required to go onsite for meetings.


    General Experience:
    10 yearsPossesses a depth of knowledge commiserate with experience and education levels in leading and managing complex scientific, engineering and/or technical efforts including professional, financial and administrative support staff

    Specialized Experience:

    10 yearsPossesses a depth of knowledge commiserate with experience and education levels in supervising technical personnel and support staff.

    Strategizing, implementing, and maintaining program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Developing program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.

    Overseeing prime and subcontractor personnel assigned to project teams that include Federal managers and attorneys, as well as Federal budget, procurement, and administrative personnel.

    Maintaining organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.


    Duties:
    Organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all contract support activities.

    Working closely with ARPA-E leadership/staff, defines, acquires and allocates resources to accomplish objectives for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and/or disciplines.

    Overseeing and guiding prime and subcontractor staff and utilizing resources for optimal performance and coordination. Working with contractor leads and Federal leadership to identify risks and opportunities across multiple tasks. Analyzing, evaluating, and overcoming program risks and producing program reports for stakeholders.


    Skills:
    Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes. Thinks creatively about problems and overcoming them. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Ability to foster collegial and cooperative working relationships with technical and legal staff, leadership, project teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.

    Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.


    Education:
