    Job Description

    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of their work. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where teamwork and patient-centered care are paramount.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses to treatment.
    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
    Monitor patient vital signs and other indicators of health, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
    Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
    Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
    Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during times of illness or distress.


    Qualifications:
    Valid RN license issued by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

    Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care or a similar healthcare environment.

    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for certain specialties.
    Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
    Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting patient safety.
    Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
