Fun In Motion Toys is excited to share that we are moving to a new location in Heath, OH. With this transition comes an important opportunity-we are hiring an experienced Operations Manager to help set up and lead our warehouse operations in our new facility.

In this role, you will guide a dedicated team, establish processes, drive performance, and cultivate a culture of safety and excellence. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, driven, and ready to be all in. What You'll Do

General

Oversee all warehouse functions and processes, including receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping according to Company processes and Standard Operating Procedures

Prepare and manage daily staffing requirements and workflow, and conduct daily morning meetings to discuss priorities with the Warehouse Supervisor and Team

Monitor key performance indicators and adjust staffing, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures as needed

Work with other internal Company departments to ensure timely resolution of any issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally with Human Resources to manage company mail

Perform other related duties as assigned

Management of Inbound and Outbound Shipments

Direct, supervise, and participate when required in unloading and receiving inbound container shipments.

Inspect for quality and note damage

Receive product in the Company Warehouse Management system

Ensure all stock is accurately stored in designated bin locations

Direct, supervise, and participate when required in the pick, pack and shipment of outbound wholesale and direct to consumer orders through the Company Warehouse Management system, and ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of orders picked

Management of Warehouse Staff

Responsible for overall staff management, including training and performance oversight, to maintain productivity, ensure accuracy, and meet performance requirements

Management and direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor

Plan and coordinate staffing needs, including contract labor when required

Train and direct staff in proper receiving, handling, storage, and shipping of Company products

Conduct annual performance reviews

Report and/or address any issues or work-related injuries and participate in any investigations as directed by Human Resources

Lead by example to demonstrate Company values and promote teamwork

Warehouse Management

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with Company standards and processes and all applicable safety regulations

Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy in the Company Warehouse Management System through cycle counts and physical inventories, and report variances or damaged items

Ensure safe operation and proper maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.

What you have

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

At least five years of experience as a Warehouse Manager preferred

Good leadership, organization, and decision-making skills, and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines, Company Standards, and Customer Requirements

Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems

Forklift certification and experience required
