- Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager assists in managing unit personnel and the nursing unit environment.
- Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assist with hiring and terminating staff, evaluating, and mentoring staff competency, and assuming budgetary responsibility.
- The position requires promoting a healthcare culture that values growth and input from frontline staff and requires an empowered leader who facilitates the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
- Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
- Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS within three months of hire.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.
- Experience: 2 or more years' experience in Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry required. 1 or more years of management/supervisory experience, such as charge nurse, preferred.
