Job Description Desert Valley Medical Group is looking for a Medical Director for our Emergency Department in our hospital located in Victorville, CA.

ED Medical Director.
~ Will be employed as 1099 Independent Contractor.
~ Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Medical Director or Medical Director for Emergency Department.
~ Must be Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine.
~ Must be willing to cover 12 clinical shifts each month. (Mix of days and nights)
~12-hour Shift.
~ Serve as a resource for consultation and referral for all mid-level providers and nursing staff.
Consult and participate, when possible, in training and educating the staff.
Participate in all staff, management, and board of directors' meetings as requested or necessary.
Provide professional perspective and direction in development of the health care plan and strategic plan of the Clinic.

Collaborate in ensuring the viability of the organization through the oversight of provider productivity, development of the annual budget, participation as a member of the administrative management team and participation in the processes of grant writing and funding opportunities.
