The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is a licensed professional provider who functions in collaboration with an attending physician in a variety of practice settings at YNHHS Provides exceptional direct diagnostic therapeutic patient care to the highest standards of the organization as part of a multidisciplinary team Cultivates a patient centric environment which focuses on the whole individual inclusive physical psychosocial spiritual functional needs patient family significant others Serves focal professional continuity care within scope practice standards specialty specific standards address resolve problems may arise.

Provide 24/7 coverage diverse general surgery trauma population high-acuity inpatient setting Conduct daily inpatient rounds collaborating closely attending surgeons residents multidisciplinary care team Assist operating room laparoscopic robotic surgical cases ensuring quality perioperative support Perform inpatient surgical consults across high-volume service delivering timely assessments evidence-based care plans Participate comprehensive onboarding structured orientation program designed support both new graduates experienced providers Contribute collaborative excellence-driven surgical team focused optimizing clinical outcomes patient experience Responsibilities
