    Job Description

    Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm located on the Country Club Plaza is seeking a Legal Asst to support Partner, Associate, and Paralegal. This is a fast-paced, demanding practice that requires team work and the ability to multi-task. The candidate must have excellent organization skills with exceptional attention to detail, be team oriented, and be able to provide support and input to the group. Our practice is 100% electronic and requires good understanding of computers and Microsoft programs. Work experience in a Plaintiff's law firm beneficial, but not required. Will train the right candidate.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Scheduling of client meetings, depositions, hearings, as well as keeping the appt. calendar current
    2. E-Mail and Filing – track and process all Court notifications, correspondence, and documents received and sent trough email and regular mail. Handle hand deliveries.
    3. Editing and finalizing pleadings, correspondence, and documents.
    4. Pleadings – Serving and filing of all Court pleadings, as well as initiate and track civil process service.
    5. Gather background information and documents on individuals through available websites.
