Line CookPART TIME POSITION
Responsible for the timely preparation of meals with a high-quality presentation. Prepare meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. Assist with sanitation of the food service areas and the receiving and inventory of supplies and products. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment and follows regulatory guidelines.
Being able to cook quality food.
Be able to style, quality and timeliness of meal service.
Make sure to keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
Meal presentation (appealing plate, entrée availability and timeliness of preparation).
Guest relations, (resident/guest interaction, and communication).
Keep food production records, temperature logs, cleaning schedules.
Inventory control
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
Posses strong culinary skills.
Knowledge of restaurant style service as related to meal preparation and service and timing.
Ability read and follow recipes.
Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
