    Facility:
    Emergency Department (23 beds) – Level IV Trauma Center
    Contract Length: 13 weeks – Travel nursing contract
    Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

    Hours per Week: 36

    Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

    ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
    Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
    Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
    Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    Strong teamwork, adaptability, and positive attitude

    ER Nurse Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting

    Perform emergency nursing procedures:
    cardioversion, TNK administration, moderate sedation
    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (RNs, paramedics, patient care techs)
    Document care accurately using Meditech EMR
    Comply with hospital and unit policies and procedures
    Foster a supportive, team-oriented environment
