    Job Description


    The Finance Analyst role focuses on overseeing the margin accounting journal entries. The analyst also plays a key role in supporting the month-end accounting and reporting for the margin ledger, as well as the annual cost planning related to product cost. The position involves collaborating with various teams across the organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Monitor the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for margin posting programs in SAP to ensure accurate results for automated journal entries.
    • Perform monthly analysis/reconciliation between margin reports to validate the automated margin calculations by Robot.
    • Coordinate changes within the deferred margin program to the Business Technology System group post reconciliation, which includes testing of reports and interfaces.
    • Collaborate closely with affiliates and colleagues on margin-related issues at a product SKU level to ensure proper setup of all components within the product.
    • Prepare and post month-end margin journal entries, including purchase price variance and standard cost revisions to the Intercompany Margin 'Delta Profit' pool.
    • Conduct a monthly inventory Book to Perpetual analysis by Product on the Margin 'Delta Profit' to ensure accurate reporting of balances in alignment with guidelines and policies. Collaborate with Cost Analysts to investigate and resolve any variances.
    • Perform ad hoc and quarterly analysis as required.
