Excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital, a 25-bed acute care critical access facility located in Lexington, Virginia.

Position requires a broad knowledge base in common general medical conditions and confidence in providing care in a setting with limited specialty support required.

Must be prepared to provide pre and post-operative care for General Surgery, Orthopedic, and other limited surgical sub-specialty services. In House Cardiology, Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, anesthesiology available. Tele - Critical care, Tele - Dermatology and Tele -Neurology support available.
~ Teaching opportunities available including faculty appointment with Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
~182 shifts/year with flexibility in scheduling.
~ Night coverage provided by the Advanced care provider.
~ Extra shift opportunities available.
