- Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy SAP ERP applications, SAP systems software, SAP products, and/or enhancements to existing SAP applications throughout the enterprise.
- Ensure that SAP ERP software meets business requirements and goals, fulfills user requirements, and identifies and resolves systems issues.
- Develop and oversee the technical change management process across the organization in all affected areas.
- Collaborate with IT and end-user staff in the testing of SAP ERP software/application(s).
- Ensure that applications deployment enhances operating systems, networks, telecommunications, or other areas where it is deployed.
- Recommend any additional hardware or software needed for successful solution deployments, configuration, or maintenance.
- Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of SAP ERP software solutions.
- Install and configure patches and upgrades as required.
- Liaise with software, hosting partners, and other vendors for prompt rectification of problems or emergencies.
- Coordinate feasibility studies for software products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings.
- Liaise with other technical support staff to assist with design specifications, program logic, and data conversions.
- Troubleshoot in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for all systems and projects supported by ERP Technical Solution team.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget that meet or exceed original requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Possession of an associate's degree in computer science, or related field and years' experience in direct user, network, enterprise application system administration and/or telecommunications or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and knowledge.

- System administration and management of enterprise SAP applications
- Management of Middleware programs and SAP Bolt-on or third party tools such as SecurityWeaver, BSI TaxFactory and EPI-USE that link applications with databases, operating systems, and network architecture and that enable applications to be interoperable across operating systems
- HANA database administration.
- User authorizations and SAML authentication and SSO concepts
- Enterprise server(s), storage, and network security

Description
Under limited supervision of the Supervisor Systems Administration performs advanced system administration work. Operates and supports Fairfax Water's large-scale ERP software platforms through implementation of best practices. The System Administrator II is also responsible for planning and coordinating the change management of processes required for the support of systems necessary for business operations. Coverage is effective 1st day of month after hire if hired between the 1st and 15th of the month. If hired between the 16th and 31st of the month, coverage is effective the 1st day of the 2nd month after hire.
Group Life Insurance - Employee Cost Month

The Group Life Insurance Plan is offered to all permanent full time employees. Effective date follows same rule as health insurance.
Long-Term Disability
Effective after 36 months of employment with Fairfax Water. Benefit is equivalent to 66.7% of base pay at no cost to the employee.
Fairfax Water Retirement Plan - Is a defined benefit plan in which all regular full time employees are enrolled in at time of hire at no cost to employees. Employees are vested after five years of service.
ICMA 457 Plan - Is a deferred compensation plan which employees can voluntarily participate in with a maximum contribution as established by the IRS on a yearly basis.
Additional Benefits
Flexible Spending Accounts: Fairfax Water offers a Medical Flexible Spending Account where employees may contribute up to $2,750.00 per year on a pre-tax basis for eligible expenses. Fairfax Water offers a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account where employees may contribute up to $5,000.00 per year on a pre-tax basis for eligible child-care expenses.
Child/Adult Care Reimbursement: Employees with household incomes under $60,000 my be eligible for an annual subsidy for licensed child/adult care ringing from $800.00 to $4,000.00 depending on eligibility.

Direct Deposit of pay. Pay days are bi-weekly on Thursday.
