Primary Objective:
To fulfill my role as a governing member and active citizen Position functions and work direction are provided by the Maintenance/Project Director, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Managers, MOD Primary responsibilities are: Day to day maintenance, repairs, and initial problem solving of needs in the store Active Citizenship

• Understand your role as an active citizen in helping build right relationships with customers, coworkers, managers and vendors by communicating effectively and maintaining a positive relationship
• Take an active role in identifying opportunities and barriers by engaging with the proper stakeholder(s) to close gaps and create change
• Create an abundant and just environment by attending and participating in governing meetings
• Take on a civic identity to sustain the civic infrastructure by familiarizing yourself with Kowalski's core curriculum (Kowalski's Employee Handbook, ACT training, POD training, and technical training)
• Continue to educate yourself and others around Active Citizenship and Points of Difference Public Appearance and Behavior
• Exceed customers' expectations by creating an exceptional shopping experience by greeting the customer, eye contact, always offering assistance, and thanking them
• It is your responsibility to arrive on time and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts (refer to Attendance, Uniform, Hair Restraint, Jewelry, and Nail Policies)
• Follow proper radio and phone etiquette, if applicable Knowledge of Standards, Procedures and Job Expectations
• All general everyday repairs
• Lighting needs. Bulbs, ballasts, etc.
• Sink/plumbing issues. Leaking faucets, drain leaks, etc.
• Power jack and forklift problems
• Garbage disposal
• Automatic Doors (basics, keep tracks clean, sensors clean, etc.)
• Self-contained cases and minor refrigeration issues
• Assessing fan problems in cases
• Pictures, signage, etc. that need to be hung up
• Touch up painting
• Basic repairs of building materials. Tile, coving baseboards, McQue bumpers, trimming
• General cleaning as needed for store managers and department managers
• Shelving installation and repairs
• Problem solving repair needs first. If it cannot be figured out then let the store manager know.
• Maintenance and repair of misting systems
• Deliveries as needed for the store
• Transferring product or picking up product from store to store as ne
