    We have an immediate opportunity for a 2nd Shift ​Tester Technician ​to join us at our diverse team in Easley. Testing and adjusting valves with a hydraulic test stand conforming to a written set of engineering specifications.

    Job Responsibilities


    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

    • Installing and removing test fittings. Installing orifice and/or plugs after test. Loading and unloading valves from test fixtures.
    • Transporting valves to paint line. Retrieving information from computers on testing instructions
    • Operating a hydraulic test stand. Maintain minimum production levels. Maintain a safe, clean work area (keeping oil off floor). Notify supervisor of shortages of testing supplies.
    • Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routing, work instructions and Engineering Test Orders
    • Using pneumatic torque tools. Use pressure, flow, leakage, time, torque, and length gauges. Analyze defective valves and repair them to conforming specifications

    • High School diploma or GED equivalence
    • Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
    • Must read and write legibly
    • Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
    • Must have good motor skills. Must be able to work while wearing safety equipment.
