Job summary
This is a CNC Programmer position at a dynamic team in Britton,South Dakota. The job involves programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Quote new parts from customer prints by determining material requirements and accurately assessing feeds, speeds,cycle times(tooling and fixturing requirements)
- Develop and optimize CNC milling programs based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate records of production runs tooling changes maintenance activities
- Acknowledge all safety protocols promote safe working environment
Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred technical degree certification in CNC programming - ? 3-5 years experience as a CNC programmer specifically with milling processes
- Familiarity with CAD CAM software GibbsCam preferred
- Able to read interpret technical drawings schematics
