    If you have what it takes to accelerate Metalsa's vision of future mobility, we want you to join the team For more information, visit metalsa.comSPECIFICProactively improve safety in the plant to achieve the plant goal of 0 accidentsFacilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetingsChampion timely resolution of all safety concerns and/or near missesWork with maintenance to ensure equipment has proper PM and is safe to operateEnforce area and plant safety proceduresWork closely with quality area to create and maintain systems that ensure quality productsSupport teammates in their efforts to consistently exceed customer expectationsCommunicate potential quality concerns and maintain customer and TS requirementsEnforce area and plant quality procedures, and monitor and track quality activities for the production areaCoordinate and oversee rotation of production activities in the area to ensure line efficiency and customers' needs are metMonitor standardized work is being followedPlan changeovers to minimize disruption of productionActively encourage participation in the idea program by effectively resolving and implementing teammates' ideasIdentify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable teamLead efforts to reduce cost and improve efficiency to meet planned/plant objectivesConduct training for teammatesGather information and auditing of daily reportsAdditional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department changeAcademic and ExperienceTwo years of post-high school education preferredA combination of education and manufacturing experience requiredParticipation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem-solving, or other applied leadership experience.
