    About Our Client

    The client is a real estate investor that focuses on finding unique high potential real estate acquisition opportunities in the Texas market. Investors are typically high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, including some with family offices. The Investor Relations Associate would help the firm raise their first fund.

    Job Description

    Newly created Investor Relations and Capital Formation Associate position where the incumbent will lead fundraising and strategic growth initiatives. The primary focus is the development of strong investor relationships. This effort includes developing and executing the firm's strategic new investor marketing initiatives, assisting with preparing documents for new investments, managing investor pipelines, preparing internal fund raising status presentations, designing and overseeing the creation of marketing collateral. Other duties include but not limited to:

  • Create and implement a new investor development strategy to help fund new business goals
  • Develop and execute a plan to expand the existing investor base, prioritizing key relationships
  • Serve as a key point of contact between existing and prospective investors and the firm.
  • Identify HNW and UHNW prospects and initiate relationships.
  • Create marketing and branding materials using graphic design and assist with web design, ensuring all materials are compliant with legal guidelines.
  • Own and manage the firm's technology platform for investors (e.g. Investor Portal) and support SEO efforts

    As this is a newly created position, our client is looking for someone who has the experience and creativity to carve out their own niche.

    The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' experience in real estate investments, preferably in a fund structure. Existing relationships with TX based investors a large plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with sophisticated investors
  • Familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements and Private Placement Memorandums
  • Tech savvy individual - typical tech platforms, Office suite etc but specific exposure to investor technology platforms, e.g. Juniper Square, would be beneficial. What's on Offer

    There is no set "budget" as this is a newly created position, but the firm expects to compensate in the $75,000 to $125,000 range on the base. There will be ample opportunity and incentives based on capital raised and equity deployed by this individual/the firm.
