    Get ready to take your career to the next level with this exciting opportunity in the packaging manufacturing industry We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

    This is a key leadership position, with responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency and productivity are maximized, and costs are minimized.

    This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.


    Responsibilities:
    As the Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:


    • Overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Implementing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track productivity and identify areas for improvement.
    • Developing and managing budgets, ensuring all operations are carried out within the allocated financial parameters.
    • Applying lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
    • Leading process improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and reduce costs.
    • Training, supervising, and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
    • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a high standard of quality control.
    • Collaborating with other department heads to align operations with business goals.

    Qualifications:
    To be considered for the Operations Manager position, candidates must have:


    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry.
    • Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
    • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost reduction strategies.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of effectively managing and motivating a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
    • A bachelor's degree in business administration, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
    • Certifications in operations management, lean manufacturing, or a related field would be an advantage.
