About The Role
As we continue to grow our organization, we are looking to add an Account Executive to our team
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day account activities; including regular communication with clients, assessment of clients needs and priorities and generation of ideas to meet client needs
- Research and write news releases, pitches, fact sheets, media advisories and social media content
- Pitch by email and phone to national, regional and trade journalists, including print, broadcast and online
- Manage social media, including implementation of social media campaigns for clients on platforms including LinkedIn, X and Instagram
- Research target media using MuckRack, Cision and the Internet
- Manage and mentor junior staff
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of PR agency experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated success in securing national and niche media coverage
- Familiarity of AP style and strong writing skills
- Knowledge of the wider media landscape – including current events, national/statewide news and trends
- Experience with ideation and creation of news articles, thought leadership columns and blog posts
- Detail oriented; able to manage multiple projects in an organized manner
- Social media experience using X, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
Salary range $60,000-70,000 plus competitive benefits including Summer Fridays, paid maternity/paternity leave, 100% covered health insurance and professional development opportunities.
