    Job Title: Arts and Crafts Program Manager

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Arts and Crafts Program Manager. As a key member of the camp staff, you will be responsible for designing and delivering creative arts and crafts programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our campers.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Program Development: Collaborate with senior management to create engaging arts and crafts curricula that align with the camp's mission and objectives.
    • Activity Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of theme-related arts and crafts activities that enrich all-camp programming.
    • Staff Guidance: Provide training and support to staff members on program goals, delivery methods, and safety protocols.
    • Camper Engagement: Encourage camper participation in planning and executing arts and crafts projects, ensuring they have a voice in shaping their own experiences.
    • Supervision: Supervise and care for campers during designated arts and crafts activities, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
    • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintain first aid kits, and file incident reports promptly.
    • Emergency Protocols: Stay informed about emergency procedures and respond quickly in case of incidents or accidents.
    • Professional Relationships: Foster positive relationships with campers, staff, and parents, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy.
    • Supply Management: Request, organize, and maintain arts and crafts supplies and equipment, ensuring seamless program delivery.
    • Scheduling: Coordinate schedules with senior management and unit staff to ensure smooth program flow.
    • Camper Care: Participate in camp-wide activities such as meals, flag ceremonies, all-camp events, cookouts, opening/closing days, and kapers.
    • End-of-Season Procedures: Complete end-of-season supply inventory and submit reports to the administrative department.
    • Opening and Closing Procedures: Assist with opening and closing procedures for the craft area during the camp season.
    • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support camp operations and programming.
