    The Regional Director of Marketing and Business Development partners in efforts to expand market presence, foster and uphold client relationships, and drive business growth. This leadership role possesses a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and marketing expertise to advance our firm's objectives and strengthen our position in the market.

    This role will focus on Lochner's Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Great Lakes Regions, partnering across multiple infrastructure markets and offices to drive the organic growth of the business.

    Your Impact:
    • Direct the implementation of client account relationships programs and execute market positioning strategies that build Lochner's brand. Establish and uphold best practices, tools, and approaches to drive collaboration and effectiveness across regions and offices.
    • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for specific clients and pursuits, including creation of tactical action plans, development of win themes and technical solutions, strategic teaming discussions, issue identification/resolution, and written and presentation strategy development.
    • Lead a high-performing regional marketing and business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
    • Oversee the work of regional marketing team leaders to ensure teams produce and generate compelling business development efforts and tactics, qualification packages, proposals, and presentations. Establish best practices, tools, and approaches to drive collaboration and effectiveness across regions.
    • Develop and conduct internal training programs on best practices related to strategy, business development, marketing, and client management for marketers, client-facing employees, and technical professionals.
    • Partner with client account teams to develop client-centric strategies and action plans to improve visibility and reputation, understand Lochner's position with the client, and to solicit feedback on existing work.
    • Facilitate annual business plan development and follow-up on progress with actions identified in business and firm strategic plans to support growth.
    • In alignment with the annual business plans, develop and execute multi-year marketing and communication plans and strategies to expand brand recognition and establish Lochner as an industry leader including strategies around thought leadership, industry events, professional organizations, conferences, or other civic engagement activities. Collaborate with regional leadership on Lochner's visibility and participation in these activities.
    • Partner with regional and office/practice leadership to establish regional marketing and business development budgets during the annual business plan development process.
    • Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the region. Including research, identification, and qualification of new leads and opportunities from both new and existing clients. Provide insights and recommendations to regional management team for market penetration and expansion.
    • Analyze business development and sales metrics and devise strategies to address areas for improvement.
    • When needed, collaborate with post-merger integration team and workstream leads on various integration activities and tactics including sales and business development strategy, marketing / communications activities, training, systems integrations, etc.
    Who you are:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
    • 12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in AEC industry including progressive leadership roles.
    • Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience and ability to mentor, inspire, and motivate business development and marketing team members.
    Technical and Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills (both oral and written).
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams towards positive outcomes.
    • Possess a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills. Be a self-starter and work with limited oversight.
    • Willingness and ability to travel, as needed.
